Role
The Sales Manager (Coordinator) at SOMAÍ Pharmaceuticals in Lisbon, Portugal, is responsible for coordinating and supporting sales efforts internationally. This role involves collaborating with sales teams, working closely with local marketing and production teams, and leveraging previous cannabis industry experience to enhance the company's market presence.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support sales efforts internationally, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
- Collaborate with regional sales teams to achieve collective revenue targets.
- Assist in determining wholesale pricing strategies for products in various markets.
- Monitor and analyze international industry selling trends to inform sales strategies.
- Identify and capitalize on sales drivers and opportunities for incremental growth.
- Foster a collaborative and client-focused sales culture across international teams.
- Work closely with local marketing teams to devise region-specific advertising and promotional activities.
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure adequate product availability for various markets.
- Support the development and execution of new product launch strategies internationally.
- Leverage previous cannabis industry experience to provide insights and strategies for the pharmaceutical sector.
- Coordinate with Finance and Operations for forecasting, budgeting, and refining international sales operations procedures.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between international sales teams and internal cross-functional departments.
- Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and effective leadership within the sales coordination role.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (BA, BS) or equivalent job-related experience.
- 5-8 years of experience in sales coordination or management roles in pharmaceutical industry.
- Previous experience in coordinating and supporting international sales teams.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with marketing and production teams for effective sales strategies.
- Familiarity with sales management systems (e.g., Salesforce, Pipedriver) and data-driven decision-making.
- Strong organizational and coordination skills.
- Previous experience in the cannabis industry is preferred.
- Highly motivated, adaptable, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work collaboratively and across different time zones.
- Fluent in English.
- Portuguese is a plus.
- The role may involve coordinating and supporting sales teams internationally, facilitating communication and collaboration, but without direct supervisory responsibilities.
