Who is eligible to obtain medicinal cannabis?

In the UK, the law was changed in 201, legalising medical cannabis. This means specialist doctors can prescribe medical cannabis to patients suffering from symptoms of any medical condition where the doctor feels it may be of benefit.   To access medical cannabis, patients must undergo a video consultation with the prescribing doctor, who will also need to review their medical history or summary of care.  Patients are expected to have tried two or more licensed treatments prior to trialing medical cannabis. It is important to note that medical cannabis is only legally available to those who meet these requirements.
